Why does summer rule? Well I'm not taking any summer classes, so I just come to work and work and go home and do random stuff, and soon I'll be riding my bike on a almost daily basis :) Also just having nothing to do, is just fun :) Well in terms of school work...
How did my trip end up? Thats another reason that summer rules, road tripping is just loads of fun! The Saturday after wonderland, I went on a family visiting spree. First I visited my cousin Sara, and we saw this lawn sale, and I picked up a version of the game "Clue" from 1960, which was just to me cool. It's one of my favorite board games ever! Actually I didn't know that it was around for that long :) Then I visited my aunty Diane and spent a few hours with her. After that I picked up my 2 friends and we went to another friend's place... Funny enough the directions that mapquest gave us, caused us to pass on an Express Toll Route, and they bill you. I'm still waiting on a bill from Canada, which will just be funny :) Then Sunday was more family and friend visiting, and Monday I went off to Ottawa. Had fun in Ottawa with Uncle Zai and his family and saw Anne. On Thursday I went up to Belleville, its on the way back to Toronto and stayed at my cousin Ver's place, where she burnt the bread and cheese she was making for me, and gave me a lot of hot pepper sauce to eat, needless to say I coudln't eat it :( Friday I left her place, headed up to Toronto, picked up some stuff and continued on to Windsor. Driving by yourself is one thing, but driving with almost no cars on the road is kind of scary, sort of feels you're the only one out there. In Windsor I went to the strawberry festival where I saw my cousin's two friends get their nose and tongue pierced, funny!!! The icecream and strawberries was ok, not the best. Then we went to a pool place later and then to a club, needless to say I had more fun at the pool place :) Then on Sunday it was back home to IL for me, and after looking at the map I decided to NOT go through Chicago for fear of hitting the traffic for a third time, so I went through Indianapolis, saw the signs for a few schools I've heard about but never knew where they were. Apparently I made my return home longer by 90 miles according to my odometer and mapquest, but it was fun :) Then I had the nice wait of getting the keys for my room, thanks Angel.
Movies I've seen so far:
:) can you tell I like to go to movies, cause I saw all of that in like one week :)I've been working on automating the CD that the nettechs use at work, because doing it manually is essentially a pain, espcially for the last year when I had to update it almost every week. At least now I can put a script to run and have the CD image all done by itself :) Took me a day or so and over 10 wasted cds to figure out how to get it to boot up properly, yay for open source programs that let me change what I had to :) I'll probably work on finishing it up tomorrow and making it all nice and spiffy with a bunch of linux utils on it :)
About my car audio, eh I'm hoping I can get a good jump start on that this weekend, otherwise I'd be kind of disappointed. But it should happen and it should be lots of fun, espcially working out in the parking lot in the hot sun!
